Amer Haiqal is a law graduate of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin. 

He was called to the Malaysian Bar on 14 July 2023. He had been in law practice in Messrs J.S. Pillay & Mohd Haaziq; a firm which is primarily involved in civil and criminal matters. 

A talented and diligent young advocate where he handled myriad of litigation matters from civil and criminal matters. 

With effect from February 2025, he is elevated as the Partner of the firm.
